No matter how much time I spent talking over the phone with my children, I still feel empty. How I wish that I can take care of them physically. As I and my bigboy Miklo reminisce all the good times we had together, we also shared the not so good one. It was absolutely amazing that he remembers a little of everything. What I cook, days when I take him to school, when I had to leave to work, the day when he woke up Mommy's not there (this breaks my heart). The entire conversation with him, he was humming a japanese song ( he's sooo cute). He really has grown, he outsmart Mom sometimes. I told him I cannot believe he is already 11.

MIKLO: Mom i know why you become quiet

ME: Huh?!!

MIKLO: Kse I am 11 na and when si HIM (his Dad) started courting you he was 11. Then you are waiting for his call everyday. sana kse you did not entertain his calls.

ME: Eh why naman ? Ciempre I was young then. We had nga a secret code eh. When the phone rings (once only) then I know its him na.

MIKLO: I know Mom kse Mommyla( his lola) kwento nga , and then I saw his letters for you, too many and i also read your diary. You call him prince and he calls you babe.

ME: grabe ka naman Mik! na miss kita. can I hug you when I see you?

MIKLO: Of course MOM!!!

ME: Eh kse I cannot karga you na, you are sooo big. stop eating a lot! Of course I can hug you, kiss you pa and palo rin kse I am your mother.

MIKLO: funny ka talaga Mom!

ME: basta baby ha take care of your sisters. Happy Valentine to you guys. Mom miss you sooo sooo much! I love you to the max...

MIKLO: hehehe. I love you Mom!

ME: you stay happy! si HIM, he is your father pa rin but forget the bad memories ok. Plus of course I wouldn't have good looking kids if not for those phone calls, ikaw talaga! Sabagay mana kayo lahat to me ( walang kokontra)!

MIKLO: OK cge na , you are the most beautiful, but Mom don't eat a lot din...

ME: ano ka ba Miklopie, im not eating a lot na. Im pretty kaya , Im perfect noh.

MIKLO: No Mom wala namang perfect...

ME: Meron!!! ako.

MIKLO: No nga MOM

ME: D na ko natutuwa Mik ha?

MIKLO: No one's perfect naman talaga MOM, if everybody's perfect, eh di no problem na, we have nothing more to think. If the world is perfect then , everybody dies na, nothing more to fix.

ME: naman baby morbid naman nyan. I dont want to die, cge na nga close to perfection lang ako (ayaw paawat! sarap kulitin ni miklo eh).

MIKLO: but you know Mom you may not be perfect , our family may not be, the perfect world is yet to see, but to me you are the PERFECT MOTHER! i love you Mommmmmyyyyy!!!!:)

ME: And so natulala ako (stunned and dumbfounded).

MIKLO: (humming again) Ok Mom you get some rest na. Happy Valentine! Don't worry wala pa akong constant textmate...hehehe

ME: HappY happy my baby, my pie, my bigboy, and Kung hei fat choi!

MIKLO: Mom i am not fatchoi, batchoy only...

We had 5 minutes after this (off the record).

and so I asked myself, why do i want to be perfect nga ba? kse someone told me, he likes me to be beautiful, not just beautiful but very beautiful ( what an A..hole!!!:)

Now i am stress free because I know I cannot be perfect for sure , I believe my son. And that is all that matters...He has a pefect MOTHER=)
